In an effort to get back into the retail sales game, Chrysler recently announced they are changing their powertrain warranty from 3/36,000 to a Lifetime warranty. This combined with the pending news that the sale to Cerberus is official should make Chrysler a hot topic once again in the automotive community.

Auburn Hills, Mich., Jul 26, 2007 - Chrysler today announced that the Company would extend its powertrain warranty from the 3-year/36,000-mile Basic Limited Warranty to a new Lifetime Powertrain Warranty.
